Audra Jensen, M.Ed.,BCBA, Director
Behavior Analyst and Social Cognitive Specialist

Audra began her interest in the field of autism more than a decade ago when her son was diagnosed with autism. She was actively involved in his therapeutic services. She has written two books; When Babies Read: A Practical Guide to Helping Young Children with Hyperlexia, Asperger Syndrome, and High-Functioning Autism, published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers (ISBN: 1843108038), and I Get It! Building Social Thinking and Reading Comprehension through Book Chats, published by Think Social Publishing (ISBN: 978-1-936943-01-2). She attended Michelle Garcia Winner’s mentorship program in 2009 and is a certified special education teacher and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The following is a list of therapists employed with ABC. A family's program manager will help arrange for home therapists. Therapists are trained and supervised by the program manager on a regular basis. Families pay for all ABC work on one invoice, sent the end of each month.

Debbie McCord, B.A., BCaBA, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, Program Manager

Debbie has worked in the ABA and education field for 10 years. She received her BCaBA certification in 2010 and has attended a number of conferences and workshops on applied behavior analysis and social thinking and is a skilled behavior analyst. She works with students in the office and in their homes, collaborating with families and with other professionals in the child's life. She keeps herself busy in her free time with her own three children and husband.

Alicia Like, Behavior Analyst, Program Manager

Alicia is a certified Special Education teacher who taught an early intervention autism program before taking time to teach English in Spain. She is currently working on her behavior analyst certification. She is creative and highly motivated to help her students develop necessary skills to enable them to progress.

Beth-Ann Joyner, M.Ed., Relationship Development Expert, Program Manager

Beth-Ann is a certified Special Education teacher who has been in the autism field for 10 years. Her experiences include running an early intervention autism program and being the Program Director for a clinic for intensive instruction for children with autism in the Seattle area. Beth-Ann has extensive knowledge and expertise working from the relationship development perspective and brings this technique to ABC families.

Whitney Smith, B.A., Social Thinking® Program Coordinator, Program Manager

Whitney entered the field in 2007 as an undergraduate at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. She worked closely with consultants at the University of Washington Autism Center for over a year until she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and moved to Vancouver. She is nearing course completion to receive her BCBA. Following this certification, Whitney intends to pursue a Master's degree in special education. Whitney is in charge of all our social thinking groups.

In addition to our managers, ABC employs 10-15 trained therapists who work with families in their homes and at the office delivering behavior intervention and social thinking to our students under the direction and supervision of the managers.

The majority of ABC families reside in the greater Vancouver area, but ABC serves families from as far north as Longview to south of Portland.
